Description:
Working on a specialty pharmacy project. Client is bringing in-house a system that was previously outsourced. This will require the BA to understand and help document all the changes that will occur on the business side. BA will be working for the business to document the business processes/flows … etc. Client is looking for a senior-level candidate. This is a high-visibility project with executive oversight.

  • 5-7 years business analyst experience in one of the following areas: PBM, healthcare and/or pharmaceutical is a plus; clinical background is also a plus.
  • Highly skilled interpersonal communication and writing skills to elicit and document business requirements, document business process flows and test cases. Ideal is experience with business use case development.
  • Proficient at meeting facilitation and collaboration with multiple work groups to build consensus.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with results-driven outcomes.
  • Experience in project coordination skills to manage BA work plan, requirement/test case tracking and BA document management.
  • Requirements planning and management – Involves planning the requirements development process, determining which requirements are the highest priority for implementation, and managing change.
  • Requirements elicitation – Meeting Facilitation – Involves setting up meetings and agendas. Use techniques for collecting requirements from stakeholders in a project.
  • Requirements analysis and documentation – Describes how to develop and specify requirements in enough detail to allow them to be successfully implemented by a project team.
  • Business Process Analysis – Requirements documentation can be in any of the following forms:
    • Textual
    • Matrix
    • Diagrams
    • Models
  • Requirements communication – Describes techniques for ensuring that stakeholders have a shared understanding of the requirements and how they will be implemented.
  • Solution assessment and validation – Describes how the business analyst can verify the correctness of a proposed solution, support the implementation of a solution, and assess possible shortcomings in the implementation.
