Project Manager – Security

Role: Project Manager – Security

Location: Minneapolis/St. Paul
Duration: 6 month minimum

Top Skills Needed:

  • 7-10 years Sr. project management with security experience
  • Experience working on technical projects, experience/knowledge of security regulations (PCI, GLBA, SOX); knowledge of general data classifications standards.
  • Provides project management leadership for project(s) within a business area throughout the project lifecycle process, ensuring projects meet business requirements and are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
  • Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
  • Understands the various application development methodologies (waterfall, iterative, etc.) and can apply them appropriately depending on the type of project that he/she is leading.
  • Knowledge of project management tools, methods and best practices such as those defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge.
