Firm’s second annual ‘Big Give’ contest will decide which two charities receive $2,500 donations
Burnsville, MN (October 6, 2009)—Hollstadt & Associates (Hollstadt), a leading management and technology consulting firm, announced today that it is holding its second annual Hollstadt Big Give contest, calling on clients, and Hollstadt consultants and staff to nominate a charity of their choice for a chance to receive a $2,500 donation. Two winning charities will be chosen from the nominations.
“At Hollstadt, one of the ways we measure our success is by the role we play in helping our communities,” said Hollstadt CEO Rachel Hollstadt. “The Big Give is an exciting, fulfilling way to support worthy organizations that are important to our clients, consultants and staff. With more than 45,000 charities in our country, we need their help narrowing down the list!”
Hollstadt clients, consultants and staff can nominate the charity of their choice by telling their story of involvement with that charity at www.hollstadt.com. The deadline for submission is Thursday, October 15, 2009. To be eligible, the charities must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The contest is open to all charities in the U.S., except schools or religious institutions.
Once all votes are in, a selection committee will choose one winner from the client submissions and one from the consultant and staff submissions. The winning charities in the Hollstadt Big Give contest will be announced and checks presented during a private celebration on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at the Hollstadt & Associates Burnsville office at 200 East Travelers Trail, Suite 210. Along with the recognition and introduction of the contest winners, Hollstadt will thank clients and consultants for their strong support and loyalty throughout the year.
Last year’s Big Give contest winners included Lift Kids, a Minnesota-based non-profit service enterprise that works to build villages in developing countries, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, which is one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers.
“It was such an honor when the Big Give selection committee chose my submission for Lift Kids,” noted Kevin Baier, who nominated Lift Kids last year. “I know that every resource applied to their efforts will continue to make those critical steps towards lifting people from poverty one child, one family and one village at a time.”
