I’m Jim Jungbauer, minority owner and individual contributor at Hollstadt Consulting. Since 1990, Hollstadt has been the employment matchmaker for hundreds of thousands of local professionals. I started in the consulting industry in 1996 and have always loved getting to know everyone I meet. My network is a who’s who of talent, more importantly, it’s a network of proven people who get the job done. I’m thrilled to formally introduce our new service offering, Hollstadt Exclusive Search™, but before I do that, if I’m going to ask you to hire me to lead your next big search, you might want to know a little bit about me. I’m a local guy—born and raised in Mahtomedi, Minnesota. My wife (and boss), Molly and I have been married 37 years, have two wonderful grown children, and now a fabulous granddaughter.
From Consultant to President
My commitment to Hollstadt Consulting started before Molly and I purchased the company from Rachel Hollstadt in 2012. Before then, my first interaction with Hollstadt was as a business consultant in 2003 for a firm that to this day remains a client. A few years into consulting, Rachel brought me inside and put me in charge of our Sales and Recruiting divisions. In 2008, I became the President and had the opportunity to work with Rachel and an outstanding leadership team to continue to serve our clients and consultants.
From President to Minority Owner
When Rachel shared that she was ready for her next adventure, Molly and I made an offer and Rachel accepted. At that point, Molly left her role as Controller of the Minnesota Wild to take on majority ownership and the title of CEO of Hollstadt Consulting– continuing the long-held tradition of being a woman-owned and operated business.
